OK PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
IF YOU BUY AN ADOPT USING PAYPAL AS THE FORM OF PAYMENT, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS GOOD IN THE WORLD, SEND IT AS A 'GIFT' OR INCLUDE A LITTLE EXTRA TO COVER THE FEE.
JUST DO IT. I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MONEY AND I DON'T WANT YOU BITCHING AT ME BECAUSE YOU HAVE TO SEND MORE MONEY.
(F.y.i this is directed at no one in particular, I have been shorted money over 15 times and it's fucking ridiculous)

i dont recommend having people send it as gift too many times because paypal will literally lock yer account :T

I rarely have people pay with paypal, because of that fact. I like to use the points to money conversion on DA because it's sent as a payment & doesn't deduct any money for fees so I get all of it without the risk of my account being suspended.

I usually don't say anything unless it's more than $1 missing or I'm accepting payment for a collab (because there is no way in hell I'm going to let the other person be shorted money on my watch :I )

Exactly. I even had to make sure I put it as one of my rules to send it as a "Gift" Or else I'm cheated out of my money, and so is the other collaborator. = A= I wish people would understand that we work hard and kinda need money to keep going in life.

I guess I'm pretty stupid to just assume people would send it as a gift or pay extra for the fee so I get the correct amount of money. Someone got mad at me recently because I didn't tell them to send it as a gift so they sent it normally and I got upset that I had been shorted $2, and they complained that most people don't make the buyer pay the paypal fee and that I should have specified that I wanted them to pay it. LIKE IT'S COMMON SENSE. If something costs $3 and you send me $2.50 don't get mad at me because YOU didn't pay the right amount. :I

People are complete cheap-asses when it comes to certain things. But I take my money seriously and so does a lot of other artists. :I If you don't want to 'waste' your money on our art/adopts. Then don't waste our time with your stupidity/cheapness. Especially when you're shorted 2 dollars. :I That is a good chunk of money. I mean jesus....

If people just send it as payment for "services" you shouldn't get charged.
I've payed many people that way.
TECHNICALLY it is a payment for services. xD you're working for them to make a piece of art. -shrugs-

Service is right, because you haven't produced the goods yet. At least for commissions.

Paypal is strange. :I
